I went to the doctor today

The Cold From Hell turned out to be pneumonia. May seem to be bad news, but it is a jackpot to me; at last I can get medication and heal! My lifelines have come to good use today too, and tomorrow an exciting event will take place here; the hubby (age fifty) and the son (age three) will harvest wormfluid and feed the worms in the vermicompost - after my instructions.

Update us on the vermi-harvest when you're feeling up to it.

I know what you mean about feeling better even when hearing some bad news. Once you know the kind of fight you're in for you can at least get down to the business of fighting!

And pneumonia isn't the same kind of scary monster it used to be. Just do what the docs say and make sure you're really better before you start acting better. I had a friend who stopped properly caring for himself once he felt better and he ended up even more sick than before.

Nothing bad, really, he just felt worse for longer is all.

Get better and stay better, that's my advice!

Hydroponica; I spend most of the days in the sofa corner reading or relaxing. Once I've made the mistake of bouncing up too early and payed for it - makes it easier to rest now.

Good thing about being sick is you can ask people to do things for you and they can't say "no."

Yeah, I've been there as well. It's one of those lessons that's hard to learn by anything but the hard way.
