Help, they are growing!
Guess who are the bullies at school? Yes, the oilseed pumpkins. I've put them in individual terracotta pots, which seems to keep them happy - for now. Almost everything I've sowed needs replanting immediately and a new problem looms; where will I put everything once I've put it into 'grown up' containers?

I'm working under the assumption that you don't have a studio apartment, just on the basis of the amount of plants you're growing...
Have you done pumpkins indoors before? How does it work? The only thing I can think of is training them along the top of my planter box, so they still get "sunlight" from the grow lamps... Do yours just run across the floor!?
And, y'know, if you don't have room, I'll totally take a few!
Well, our apartment is more like a penthouse - a two story 123 square meter (1324 sq feet) thing. But I have to admit I'm too optimistic when I sow seedlings, I think half of them wont't grow, and if all grow that I'll have the heart to throw the surplus away. Neither is happening. Some of the plants were actually sown for the allotments I gave up a few days ago, and my inner optimist tells me I'll be able to squeeze them in somewhere...
No, I haven't done pumpkins indoors before. I plant to plant them individually and train them along a trellis. Each plant is then given (I hope) a grow light on their own, which I'll be making using some creative wood work and lightning fixtures for fluorescent lights.
I would send you some if I thought they would survive the travel - I live in Sweden so I'd have to send them by Concorde or something :) But we could exchange some seeds - I have a good dwarf variety of sugar snaps, for ex.
