Octopus's garden

Today is my birthday and I do preciseley what I want to do. Secretely I wish for a big size aquaculture but since our economy and our living quarters are on the smaller side I'll stay content with an octopus's garden for now.

Happy Birthday!
You made me happy, I always love hearing the Beatles.

I wish I had photos of my 150 gallon aquariums. I did have fish but they were really aqua-gardens. Our new house doesn't have the space and I really miss them. I'll have to return and play "Octopus's Garden" whenever I feel their loss.

Thanks for visiting my place. Tell your husband he's missing some great fishing. I'll get the family together and give him the grand tour.

Happy birthday! You asked in a comment if I speak Swedish or German....sadly no. I do however pick posts on Blotanical that aren't in English, or are in two languages, to encourage other gardeners whose first language might not be English, so as to cheer them on. Your site is in English AND Swedish, and I think that's great--must be a lot of work, too.
I left you a message at your 'plot' at Blotanical, too but that was before I learned it was your birthday. I hope you have a wonderful day, and that the weather is better than here (we're getting another snowstorm!)

cheers, jodi at Bloomingwriter

TopVeg: Thanks!

Wiseacre: I'll tell him, then I'll definately put your place on the list of 'must visit on our around the world tour'.

The lone beader: Thanks!

Jodi: Actually I really wish for a snowstorm. For the second year winter has been abnormally warm as well as snowless. Some white fluff would be greatly appreciated, even as a nuisance...

Keeping the blog in both swedish and english isn't as much work as one could believe. When I translate my swedish texts into english most of the thinking is already done and the rest is a simple process of converting words and grammar. I can't escape the nagging feeling that I'm writing swenglish rather than english though. I try to convince myself that this is a charming trait of my blog :-)

Hope you made it ok through the storm.
