Urban Food Growing in Havana, Cuba

I have no tv, so I haven't been able to watch "Around the world in 80 gardens" (if it's been aired in Sweden). After seeing this clip I'll definately buy it on dvd.

That looks really interesting. I love watching the travel channel and HGTV and this combines the two. I'll have to see if Netflix has it.

n.& j. Do so! Exploring gardens while travelling is great, so 80 gardens to put on the 'to see' list will cover most of the travelling plans in the future.

weed whackin' wenches: You're welcome!

And to Walter Lippmann of Cuba News list: I had to omit your comment, since it wasn't primarily about gardening, which is the central theme both of my blog and this post (take a look at the rules for commenting in the right margin). I encourage anyone who has seen/read this post and wish to discuss other aspects of Cuban life to do so on the right foras on the internet. On this page we find a short list, but I'm sure there are a lot more.
